On Saturday, the 280 Bakes team tried something new - we took part in a parade! Lawrence Weston Carnival was held on Saturday 18th June this year, and we were pleased to be invited to join in the fun. Two of our team dressed up and boogied down Long Cross (main road in Lawrence Weston) to the beat of drums, with wheelchairs decorated like sunflowers, a flying pig, and so much more! Here are some of the photos from the day - thankfully the rain held off! We're already looking forward to next year! We had a wide range of cakes on sale - and I'm pleased to say we sold out! (bar two flapjack, which we had for dinner!).
Thanks to all our customers, and to the organisers of the carnival. Big thanks also to Bri and Suz who helped out - couldn't have done it without you. Lou x 280 Bakes
